More and more, motion culture rambles in the path of the fine arts. Many times we'll see motion graphics not only used in advertisement and film, visual artists is the code profession for many motion graphists. We have to subsist by generating cool logo animations, great vfx that are believable by the audience, amazing guerilla for the new BTL generation without mentioning virals and all the internet penetration, but what about the stuff we really like to do? Get out and make some stuff for our real world. Hop into a new emerging gallery and propose a great personal piece or series. Remember to have a good idea behind, lots of time, and the very best of your skills. Maybe it won't be reliable in the profit fashion, but what about being respected by the "intellectual community". Performance, installation, live acts, theater or other, are great areas to win respect, networking and maybe open a new channel for what you do. Every day "art" is being consumed more and more. Why not parallel to your commercial work, try reinforcing your personal style while showing to the world.
Hope you get some ideas, and I'll love to see them come true.
See ya soon!
